Let me explain. The process from home finance inquiry to closing your loan can vary lender-to-lender. Our process involves receiving new leads / LendingTree inquiries, quoting best-execution rates (i.e. ideal rates w/ good credit), getting in touch via email, then phone, and connecting each borrower with a Loan Officer. Where delays can pop up are in the initial email correspondence. You may have replied to a lender’s email about quotes, but not heard back. In some cases, this may lead to you missing out on low rates!
There’s a trick, though: Give them a call!
